摘要 PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a load bearing material which is superior in cost efficiency and strength. SOLUTION: The load bearing material is formed of an H beam 2, and a steel pipe 3 which has the H beam 2 inserted therein and is filled with fiber-reinforced mortar 6, and has ends of the H beam 2 protruded from edges of the steel pipe 3, respectively. The load bearing material is a composite structure in which only a necessary portion thereof is reinforced with the steel pipe 3 and the fiber-reinforced mortar 6, and therefore compared with the case where the entire body is reinforced, the present load bearing material is inexpensive and exerts necessary strength without waste. Further the fiber-reinforced mortar 6 is employed as a filler, and therefore the load bearing material can be further improved in strength when prestressing is introduced thereto.
