PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a prefabricated simple house which can be compactly housed by being disassembled in disuse, which can be easily assembled and conveyed, which can exert sufficiently strength and durability even if a person lives in the house over a medium or long term, and which is provided with minimum equipment required for habitation. SOLUTION: This prefabricated simple house 1 comprises: a first box body 2 in which openings are formed in a top surface and one side surface, respectively, and which is equipped with a floor surface 9a and lateral surfaces 5 on three sides; a second box body 6 which forms an opening facing one lateral surface forming the opening of the first box body, and which is arranged in such a manner as to be equipped with a top surface 12, lateral surfaces on three sides and a floor surface 9b; lateral portions 17 which are arranged on the upper portions of the lateral surfaces 5 of the first box body 2, respectively; and a roof portion 3 which is provided in a covering manner on the openings of the top surfaces of the lateral portions 17. The floor surfaces 9a and 9b of the first and second box bodies 2 and 6 are connected together via a pivot portion 7. The second box body 6 is formed in such a manner as to be capable of falling sideways to the side of the floor surface 9a from the opening formed in the one lateral surface of the first box body 2, while making the pivot portion 7 serve as a base shaft.
