PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To shorten the time until a desired transmission analog output is provided when a digital signal generating unit of which an output amplitude has been changed is connected to a digital signal generating unit optimized to the desired transmission analog output in a transmitter. SOLUTION: In a transmitter which is configured to transmit a digital signal S1 to be transmitted while converting the digital signal into an analog signal and amplifying it and in which an amplitude value of the digital signal is optimized to a desired transmission analog output by an ALC control function, when a digital signal generating unit 1 is changed and the amplitude value S1 of the digital signal is changed, first of all, an arithmetic unit 2 performs rough adjustment by adding a differential before and after the change of the amplitude value of the digital signal to a changed amplitude value. Next, a comparative control unit 18 and a gain correction unit 3 perform ALC control on a digital signal S2 after the addition for fine adjustment. Thus, the time for the ALC control is shortened.
