PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a new imide compound, to provide an electrophotographic photoreceptor containing the new imide compound and excellent in image characteristics, to provide a process cartridge equipped with the electrophotographic photoreceptor, and to provide an electrophotographic device. SOLUTION: The present invention relates to an imide compound represented by general formula (1) (wherein, one of R1, R5, R6and R10is H, and the other three groups are each an alkyl; R2, R3, R4, R7, R8, and R9are each H, nitro or a halogen atom), to an electrophotographic photoreceptor having the imide compound, to a process cartridge equipped with the electrophotographic photoreceptor, and to an electrophotographic device.
