This invention provides an apparatus for manufacturing a laminate compris ing a reinforced fiber base, for use in the manufacture of a composite mater ial by an RTM molding method or a vacuum RTM molding method. The apparatus c omprises a bonding device. In the bonding device, two or more reinforced fib er bases each having a resin material on its surface are stacked on top of e ach other to form a laminate precursor. The layers constituting the laminate precursor are partially bonded to and integrated with each other with the a id of the resin material to produce a laminate. The bonding device comprises an indenter tool and a plate tool disposed opposite to each other. The inde nter tool comprises an indenter plate and a plurality of indenters. At least one of the indenter tool and the plate tool has a lifting/lowering function , and at least one of the indenter tool and the plate tool has a heating fun ction. According to the above constitution, the apparatus can continuously m anufacture laminates having excellent handleability and shapability. |
