A heat-shrinkable polyester film exhibiting a shrinkage factor of 50% or above in the main shrinkage direction when dipped in hot water at 95°C for 10 seconds, which film exhibits a haze of 2% or below, a gloss of 200% or above on at least one side at an angle of measurement of 45°, and a coefficient of kinetic friction between one side and the other side of less than 1.5 and which film exhibits a haze of 3% or below and a gloss of 190% or above on at least one side at an angle of measurement of 45° after it has been shrunken by 10% in the main shrinkage direction by dipping in hot water at 90°C for 10 seconds.
