PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide vinyl chloride resin granules excellent in powder coatability and sinterability, mainly for use in a battery separator. SOLUTION: This vinyl chloride resin granules are prepared by spray drying an aqueous dispersion of a vinyl chloride resin prepared by fine particle suspension polymerization or emulsion polymerization, and has 23-50μm particle diameter and≤1 m<SP>2</SP>/g specific surface area. In the production of the vinyl chloride resin granules by using a spray drying machine, the inlet temperature of air for drying is preferably 170-250°C and the outlet temperature of air for drying is preferably 75-100°C.
