PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a mobile electronic apparatus which can enhance the latitude of design. SOLUTION: The mobile electronic apparatus 1 includes a case 7 having a peripheral wall portion 31b forming an open portion 31c, a display unit 9 disposed in the case 7 and exposed in the open portion 31c, and a speaker 13 disposed in the case 7 behind the display unit 9 and performing conversion between a sound and an electric signal, and a sound channel linking a speaker and the outside of the case 7 on the side of the open portion 31c is formed of a gap between the display unit 9 and peripheral wall portion 31b on an outer peripheral side of the display unit 9.
