A pump housing of a rotary pump has a pump chamber in which an impeller can rotate, an intake port, an output port similar to the intake port, the intake and output ports having respective axially oppositely directed flanges centered on a flange axis, and respective unitary projections on the flanges each formed with a respective flat extending parallel to the flange axis. The flats form only two axially spaced mounting points for securing the pump to a support surface extending parallel to the axis. |
