An anti-phishing method is provided to set reliability standard of a white list strictly and overcome the shortcoming of GeoTrust method to improve the effectiveness of GeoTrust method. A client is installed in a computer of a user and executed such that the client continuously monitors the user computer(10). When it is detected that the user newly accesses a web site(20), the domain name of the web site is extracted and a database is queried(30). When the web site is a white site, the client does not take any step and is in a standby state. When the web site is a gray site, the site name is displayed on the screen of the user computer(32). When the web site is a black site, connection with the web site is disconnected(34). When the web site does not exist in the database, the user is informed that the web site is unknown(33).
