PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a tonneau cover device of a vehicle capable of pulling a tonneau board up by making the tonneau board stably follow a guide rail by constituting the tonneau board to be surely bent in a prescribed direction, while securing folding easiness when stored without making the tonneau board itself have a bending direction habit, in the tonneau cover device installed in a substantially horizontally deployed state at an upper position of a baggage compartment in a vehicle body rear part. SOLUTION: A front tonneau cover 20 is provided with third board 23 and fourth board 24 divided into at least two sheets in the vehicle body longitudinal direction and connected to be bendable. When the front tonneau cover 20 is vertically moved along a slide rail 8, a shelf part 6 is provided to generate crest-bent deformation between the adjacent third board 23 and fourth board 24.
