PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a protection fence, which need not be removed, but can be pushed to stand against two surfaces of walls forming a corner of a room when unused so as to be placed by simple work without becoming an obstacle. SOLUTION: A pair of fence segments 11a and 11b of the same length are turnably connected to each other. Both ends of them are pivotally attached to installation parts to two fixed surface objects (e.g. walls 14a and 14b) forming the corner 13a. A freely folding part 23 is formed in at least one fence segment 11a. When the other fence segment 11b is turned by a right angle inward, the one fence segment 11a is also linearly spliced on one surface of the fixed surface objects (e.g. walls 14b and 14a).
