PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a handle shaft-supporting structure which supports the handle shaft with a roller type, one-way clutch and suppresses increase in cost, as much as possible, and suppress infiltration of foreign matters. SOLUTION: This handle shaft-support structure 39 for rotatably supporting the handle shaft 30 on the reel body 1 includes the second boss portion 7c, a roller type one way clutch 89, and a pair of seal members 91. The second boss portion 7c is a cylindrical boss portion, to be detachably fixed to the reel body. The one way clutch 89 includes an outer wheel connected non-rotatably to the inner peripheral surface of the second boss portion 7c, an inner wheel disposed on the outer periphery of the handle shaft and is integrally rotatably connected to the handle shaft, and a rolling element disposed between the outer wheel and the inner wheel, and supports the handle shaft capable of rotating only in one direction.
