Provided is a tactile sensor capable of reproducing a sensor surface to contact with a sensing object and contributing to the lower cost of an automation system utilizing an industrial robot. The tactile sensor is characterized by comprising contact portion units (12) of a soft material, a contact portion housing unit (11) enclosing the contact portion units and housing the contact portion units in positions to have their crests protruded so that the contact portion units can be mounted/demounted, and a strain detecting element (15) or a pressure detecting element buried in the contact portion housing unit.
