SEPARATION OF LIVING PARTICLES OF GAS UNDER PRESSURE

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method of separating by impaction, viable particles and reviviscent particles, with superior reproducibility from a gas or a gas mixture under pressure. SOLUTION: This method of separating the viable particles and the reviviscent particle in the gas or the gas mixture under pressure by the impaction, is provided with a process (a) for accelerating a single gas flow or a gas mixture flow under a limited volume V along an axis x in a stroke, to a sonic velocity or higher; a process (b) for abruptly decelerating the single flow from the process (a) under the volume along the substantially same axis x at atmospheric pressure; a process (c) for changing the direction of the gas flow or gas mixture flow at an output in the volume V brought radially in average; and a process (d) for capturing the particle separated from the flow in the process (c) on a target.
