PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To enable a user to conduct cleaning in a relatively quiet state without using an electric blower. SOLUTION: A vacuum cleaner body 5 including a first dust collecting part 2 and the electric blower 3 is detachably housed in a housing part 6 of a support 7. A nozzle head 19 comprising a suction passage 16 including a laterally long suction mouth 18, a rotary brush 24 provided on the secondary side of the laterally long suction mouth 18, and a second dust collecting part 33 provided on the secondary side of it are provided on one end side of the support 7. A suction port 1 is made connectable to the secondary side of the suction passage 16, and a second holding part 22 is provided on the other end side of the support 7. Accordingly, with the vacuum cleaner body 5 housed in the housing part 6 of the support 7, it is usable as a stick type suction cleaner. In addition, the vacuum cleaner body 5 is usable as a hand-held suction cleaner, or as a non-suction cleaner in which dust scraped up by rotation of the rotary brush 24 is accumulated in the second dust collecting part 33.
