PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a construction method for installing a steel beam of beam end RC construction at an upper end of an existing part of a reinforced concrete column without timbering. SOLUTION: The construction method for installing the steel beam 2 formed of H-shape steel, at the upper end of the existing part 1A of the reinforced concrete column 1 comprises the processes for preparing the steel beam 2 with the end of the H-shape steel being formed as an oblique cut part 2d shaped to leave a lower flange 2b and a lower part of a web 2c, a process for supporting a part of the oblique cut part 2d of the steel beam 2 on the upper end of the constructed part 1A of the column 1, a process for carrying out reinforcement arrangement of a column part 1C near the end around the steel beam 2 and above the existing part 1A of the column 1, and arrangement of a form, and a process for placing concrete in the form 5.
