A nipple coating member and a milking device for gathering mother's milk effectively. The pad (12) of a milking device (10) comprises a tubular frame (25) having a large diameter side opening (12A) for inserting the nipple formed on one end side and a small diameter side opening (12B) formed on the other end side, a first flexible portion (34) provided at a part in the circumferential direction between the large diameter side opening (12A) and the small diameter side opening (12B) of the tubular frame (25), and a second flexible portion (36) provided at a position opposing the first flexible portion (34) independently thereof. The first flexible portion (34) can be deformed inward of the tubular frame (25) by a pressing force from the outside of the pad (12), and the second flexible portion (36) can be deformed outward of the tubular frame (25) by a pressing force from the inside of the pad (12).
