<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To easily confirm a start point of quality degradation of a normal printed matter from a sample output. <P>SOLUTION: The device comprises: a printer part 40 for forming images to a recording medium on the basis of image data; a loading stage 612 and a sub-tray 611 to which the recording medium with the images formed thereon is discharged; and a control unit for forming normal image data in a printer part 40 and discharging the recording medium with the images formed thereon to the loading stage 612 as normal printed matter, determining whether or not an output condition of the sample output is satisfied, combining additional information for specifying the corresponding normal printed matter with the sample image data when outputting the sample when the output condition of the sample output is satisfied, forming the composite image data in the printer part 40, and discharging the recording medium with the image formed thereon to the sub-tray 611 as the sample output. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2008,JPO&INPIT |
