PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a culture apparatus capable of monitoring expression of arbitrary genes and the like. SOLUTION: The culture apparatus comprises a culture part performing liquid culture of a biological sample introducing a light emitting reporter gene, a sampling part for sampling a culture solution of the biological sample from the culture part, and a means for supplying the substrate of the light-emitting reporter to the culture solution sampled from the culture part, and is equipped with a light-emission measuring part measuring light emission emitted from the culture solution by the light-emitting reporter and the substrate, and a computer for control.
