<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To solve a problem that a control mode of an electric motor generator is sometimes controlled to automatically shift to a regenerative braking mode if a load of an internal combustion engine becomes small when a conventional hybrid vehicle runs by constantly maintaining vehicle distance with the other vehicles, thereby flow of vehicles is disturbed by the hybrid vehicle because it is automatically operated irrespective of intention of a driver. <P>SOLUTION: An operation switch (21) for suppressing a regenerative braking force of a hybrid engine is provided at a position where a driver sitting in a driver's seat can operate. Smooth cruise along with flow of surrounding vehicles becomes possible because unnecessary regenerative braking for deceleration does not occur by operating the operation switch by the driver. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2008,JPO&INPIT |
