PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To press a cargo with the optimum force without depending on a worker or a working state of the worker in a conveying device capable of pressing the loaded cargo from the upper side. SOLUTION: The conveying device conveying the cargo X loaded in a predetermined position and capable of traveling is provided with a pressing means 84 for pressing the cargo X from the upper side by its own weight, a movement means for moving the pressing means between a position above the cargo and a retreated position while restricting it in the traveling direction, and a control means 9 for controlling the movement means 81.
