The method involves neglecting an authentication for establishment of links within a sub network by utilizing an authentication server. The authentication is neglected in areas of a structure of two links (L12, L13) from a mobile communication device (MP1) to another mobile communication device (MP2) attached to the sub network when a connection is provided betweem the former device and the latter device by the links established on the network. The authentication and establishment of the links are performed based on information correlative to the existence of the connection. An independent claim is also included for an arrangement for providing a wireless local area network.
