PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a joy stick capable of switching an interval of generating a click touch. SOLUTION: The joy stick is adapted so that the energizing force to a first clicking surface 33a or a second clicking surface 33b corresponding to either one of two click pieces 46 can be enhanced based on an instruction from a control device. The energizing force of the one click piece 46 is enhanced in such a manner that a click touch can be generated by sliding a clicking projection 32 formed on the first clicking surface 33a or second clicking surface 33b corresponding to the one click piece 46. A click touch based on the sliding of the click piece 46 enhanced in energizing force with the first clicking surface 33a or second clicking surface 33b corresponding thereto is obtained. Accordingly, the interval of generating the click touch can be switched by controlling the energizing force of the click piece 46 to the first clicking surface 33a or second clicking surface 33b.
