METHOD OF ALLOCATING CHANNEL RESOURCES IN A WIRELESS NETWORK

A channel resource allocation method in a wireless network is provided to satisfy restrictions if the predetermined restrictions are present in data or message transmission between devices in the wireless network. A source device transmits an RTT SETUP(N) CMD message to a sync deice(S93). The source and sync devices respectively calculate MAC1A and MAC2A and MAC1B and MAC2B(S94). The sync device transmits an ACCEPTED(N) RSP message to the source device(S95). The source device performs a process for being allocated with channels resources required for exchanging an RTT TEST(MAC1A) CMD message and an ACCEPTED(MAC2B) RSP message with the sync device(S96). The channel resource allocation process is performed between the source device and a coordinator of a WVAN. The source device transmits the RTT TEST(MAC1A) CMD message to the sync device by using an allocated first channel resource(S97). The sync device receives the RTT TEST(MAC1A) CMD message and transmits the ACCPTED(MAC2B) RSP message to the source device by using a second channel resource allocated in response to the received RTT TEST(MAC1A) CMD message(S98).
