A method for controlling liquid pressure of a tube expanding apparatus is provided to prevent loss and delay of pressure transmitted to a seal portion from an intensifier by adding required pressure for expanding a tube to pressure loss from an intensifier to a seal portion to boost discharge pressure. A method for controlling liquid pressure of a tube expanding apparatus includes the steps of: inserting a seal portion in which high pressure liquid is injected in a tube, and boosting liquid pressure of the high pressure liquid in the seal portion to a required pressure for expanding the tube by using an intensifier; holding the required pressure for expanding the tube, stopping the intensifier, and expanding the tube with the liquid pressure of the high pressure liquid; checking the required pressure for expanding the tube with discharge pressure of the intensifier, increasing the discharge pressure to the required pressure for expanding the tube during pressure boosting step, and booting pressure loss from the intensifier to the seal portion to set pressure for expanding the tube by boosting the discharge pressure.
