A needle assemble apparatus of the 1 inch and 1.5 inch mixing type for a quilting machine is provided to obtain the new, various and clean quilting patterns by quilting the fabrics with a single line of moving forward, and to reduce the manufacture cost. Plural first needle grooves(10) are arranged at intervals of 1 inch in the needle assemble apparatus of a quilting machine for setting the needle(3) to the needle bar(B). The first needle grooves and the second needle grooves(20) located at the center of the first needle grooves are formed at fixed intervals. Three first needle grooves are located between the second needle grooves. The needles are set at intervals of 1.5 inch by the first needle grooves and the second needle grooves, and quilt the 1.5 inch width quilting patterns with forward moving. The quilting patterns having width of 1, 3, 4.5 and 6 inch intervals are performed with forward moving by the first needle grooves and the second needle grooves for setting each needle of 1, 3, 4.5 and 6 inch intervals.
