A method for the production of polyhalophenoxyalkyl (meth)acrylates (I) involves (a) preparation of polyhalophenoxyalkanols (III) followed by (b) (meth)acrylation of (III). A method (M1) for the production of polyhalo-phenoxyalkyl (meth)acrylates of formula (I) involves (a) the preparation of polyhalophenoxyalkanols of formula (III) followed by (b) (meth)acrylation of (III). R1H or methyl; R22-20C linear or branched alkylene; R3halogen; n : 1-3.
