A safety net system for fall prevention and an installation method of a safety net system for fall prevention are provided to exclude the necessity of moving to the outside of a building for a worker to install a safety net by placing a safety net over a safety net holding ladder at the upper floor of a building by installing a safety net holding ladder rotatively. A safety net system for fall prevention comprises a support member(110) whose one side is fixed to a railing of a building by a fixing member and the other side is folded at the end of the railing of the building and installed to an external wall of a building, a fixing member(120) fixing one side of the support member to the railing of the building, a safety net holding ladder(130) coupled to the other side of first and second sub support members(112,114) included in the support member by a first rotating member to be rotary and formed in the length enough to reach the railing of the building if the safety net holding ladder is folded, a first rotating member(140) fastening the safety net holding ladder to be rotary from the other end of the first and second sub members to make the safety net holding ladder to be folded or unfolded, an arm(150) whose one side is coupled to a bend of the support member by a second rotating member and the other side is coupled to one side of the safety net holding ladder by a third rotating member to support the safety net holding ladder from the support member, a second rotating member(160) fastening the bend of the support member and one side of the arm to be rotary to make the arm rotate when the safety net holding ladder is folded or unfolded, a third rotating member(170) fastening the other side of the arm to be rotary to the appointed part of the safety net holding ladder, and a safety net installed by spreading the safety net holding ladder and pulling the other end after placing over the end of the safety net holding ladder at the upper floor of a building when the safety net holding ladder is folded.
