<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an information processor capable of attaining power saving with respect to keys in a state that a predetermined key operation surface, where a plurality of keys are arranged planarly, is shielded from an operation from the outside by a shielding member, and to provide a method of supplying and controlling a power for key operation. <P>SOLUTION: When an opening/closing detecting part 219 detects that a folding mobile phone is closed, a control part 203 turns off a case opening/closing switch 235<SB>k</SB>connected serially to a key switch 231<SB>k</SB>in an operating part 205 to disconnect current caused to flow from a pull-down resistor 242<SB>k</SB>to the ground.
