PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To restrain decline with time of an ion generation volume through further restraint of stains at a tip part of a discharge electrode. SOLUTION: At least a head part 204 of the discharge electrode unit 200 is structured of resin containing staple glass fiber. A tapered face 208 of the head part 204 has a plurality of peripheral grooves 220 with different diameters formed with a center hole as a center. Circumference areas of the discharge electrodes protruded from the center hole are surrounded by clean gas blasted from the center hole, and by the clean gas, atmospheric gas is taken in.
