PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To sufficiently secure the opening area of a bypass passage opening to a compression chamber. SOLUTION: This compressor 20 comprises a low stage side compression mechanism 40a having a low stage side cylinder 41a and a low stage side piston 47a and compressing a refrigerant in a low stage side cylinder chamber 42a. A bypass passage 66 having an upstream side end opening to the low stage side cylinder chamber 42a, discharging a part of the refrigerant from the low stage side cylinder chamber 52a, and returning it to the suction side of the low stage side compression mechanism 40a is formed in the low stage side compression mechanism 40a.
