PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an inter-vehicle information communication method enabling sure data acquisition without depending on the development of a communication network. SOLUTION: To an information relay unit 1, a vehicle A transmits information obtained or stored at that time point, when running in the vicinity of the information relay unit 1. The information relay unit 1 stores the information obtained from the vehicle A, transmits the stored information when a vehicle B, having a different running direction from the vehicle A, has run in the vicinity of the information relay unit 1. Thus, by performing non-periodical inter-vehicle communication via the information relay unit 1 storing information, it is configured to obtain in advance the information on the running destination side.
