<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide problems of a conventional ball picking device, having an installation part to be installed on a grip end, making ball holding parts project outward of the grip end, and causing the ball holding parts installed on it likely to be broken as a putter is housed in a caddie bag or the like with the head upward. <P>SOLUTION: The removable type ball picking device is provided with a shaft which can be removably inserted into a hole opened in the grip end of the putter, and a holding member installed on the shaft. The holding member comprises two holding parts capable of holding a golf ball, provided to face each other at an interval, and formed in such shape and size that it can be inserted into a cup. Though the interval between the two holding parts is thinner than the diameter of the golf ball, they are provided with such resiliency that they expand as they are pressed to the golf ball to be capable of holding the golf ball. The holding member is turnable from a position where they project outward of the grip end to a position where the two holding parts overlap with both side surfaces of the putter grip. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2008,JPO&INPIT</p> |
