PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a film drive control method capable of facilitating the changing work of a film to be conveyed by an unwinding roll and a winding roll which are passed through a working device and provided before and behind the working device. SOLUTION: In the drive control method of a film 4 to be conveyed by an unwinding roll 6 and a winding roll 9 passed through a working device 16 and provided before and behind the working device 16, a control device 18 outputs the rotational torque command in the delivering direction of the film 4 of the unwinding roll 6 to a servo motor 7 for rotating the unwinding roll 6 so that the unwinding roll 6 is not rotated in the delivering direction of the film 4 when changing the film 4.
