PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a sheet conveying method and a width increasing device capable of restoring the reduction of the width of a sheet attributable to the tension given during the conveyance and removing wrinkles generated during the conveyance by increasing the width without damaging the sheet, and a manufacturing method of an absorbent article using the conveying method. SOLUTION: In the sheet conveying method, a sheet 120 during the conveyance is conveyed from an inner curve side 160A to an outer curve side 160B of a curved body 160 in a contact traveling manner with the curved body 160 having a large number of rotating bodies 162. A sheet width increasing device (the curved body 160) has a bent fixed shaft 161 and a large number of rotating bodies 162 which are rotatably fixed to the fixed shaft 161 adjacent to each other.
