<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a terminal assembly capable of holding mating terminals as well as maintaining contact with the mating terminals by exhibiting a sufficient spring force, though having a simple structure by arraying the terminals so that a force pressing a free end in the longitudinal direction is received from the mating terminals, capable of lowering the height as well as narrowing a pitch, and capable of downsizing by easy and inexpensive manufacturing. <P>SOLUTION: The terminal assembly 60 has a frame member 71, a plurality of the terminals 61 arrayed so as to become parallel with each other at a prescribed pitch, and a terminal retaining member 31 connected to the frame member 71 and retaining the terminals 61. The terminals 61 are provided with the base end part 66 retained at the terminal retaining member 31, an arm part 68 elastically and deformably extended from the base end part 66, and the tip part 65 coming into contact with the mating terminals 161 at a free end of the arm part 68.
