PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a compact imaging device reducing the influence of external light through a side light incident part of an optical fiber plate. SOLUTION: The imaging device comprises a light source 131, an imaging device 121 imaging a subject 101 by receiving a light emitted from the light source 131 and scattered or reflected by the subject 101 by a plurality of pixels 122; and the optical fiber plate 11 for guiding the light scattered or reflected by the subject 101 to the imaging device 121. The optical axis of the optical fiber plate 111 is inclined by a predetermined angle relative to an incoming plane to the subject 101 and an outgoing plane from the subject 101 of the light, and the light source 131 is disposed near one side of the optical fiber plate 111. The pixels 121 are not disposed near a part of the optical fiber plate 11 where the incident light is guided and emitted from a side surface opposed to the side surface with the light source 131 disposed in the vicinity thereof.
