PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a radioactive substance storage facility provided with a means for raising the structural strength and the earthquake resistance function with the storage capacity, cooling function and shielding function of a radioactive substance secured in a radioactive substance storage facility provided with a plurality of storage pipes. SOLUTION: The radioactive substance storage facility 1 has a storage area 3, formed by a radiation blocking member for storing a plurality of the storage pipes 7 that contain radioactive substance storage containers 2, an air intake passage 5 for taking in cooling air into the storage area 3, and an evacuation passage 6 for evacuating the cooling air passing through the storage area 3. A base isolation unit 10 for isolating and supporting the storage pipes 7 from the radioactive substance storage facility 1 is installed at the bottom of the individual storage pipe 7.
