<p>A sprayer assembly (50) or nozzle and bracket assembly having a minimal number of parts and particularly useful for mounting on a planter row unit includes a slotted bracket (60) connected by a single bolt (34) to the unit frame (20). A molded plastic nozzle body (80) includes mounting tabs (86, 86a, 86b) received by the bracket slots (66a). The body (80) snap fits into the bracket slots (66) and is guided into position past locking offsets (66b) by the slots (66a). A nozzle cap (84) threaded onto the body (80) constrains the body (80) against upward movement in the slots (66a) and transfers harmful impact forces away from the nozzle body (80).</p> |
