METHOD FOR CONTROLLING ACCESS TO NETWORK AND SYSTEM FOR THE SAME

A method and a system for controlling access to the network are provided to realize efficient system management with reduction of network management load by automatically distributing an authentication agent for controlling the network access, and manage/operate network resources safely by blocking the network access of the managed system not including the authentication agent. An authentication agent blocks traffic output to the external network from managed systems excluding the traffic for authentication in the managed systems until the authentication is successful, and transmits resource information of the managed system when the authentication is successful. A distribution server distributes the authentication agent automatically to the managed systems of which a source IP(Internet Protocol) included in an HTTP(HyperText Transfer Protocol) request packet output to the network is included in a managed range and the resource information is not registered by redirecting webpages. An authentication server transmits an authentication result, which is determined, by comparing authentication information received from the authentication agent with the registered authentication information, to the authentication agent.
