SIGNAL SINK HAVING GUI FUNCTION, AND THE OPERATION METHOD THEREOF

A signal sync having a GUI(Graphic User Interface) function and its operation method are provided to allow a user to recognize/control a desired device on a GUI by expressing the GUI screen based on devices rather than signal sources. A main processing unit checks whether a user command requesting a GUI is inputted from a user command input unit(600). If there is a request for a GUI from the user, the main processing unit checks whether there is a signal source connected with a signal sync(602). The main processing unit outputs the results obtained by checking the connection state of a device to a GUI screen generating unit(604). If there is no device connected to the signal sync, the main processing unit generates a message on a GUI screen(606).
