A TFT(Thin Film Transistor) substrate is provided to obtain a uniform overlapping area between a drain electrode and a sub-pixel electrode coupled with each other within each pixel, thereby improving the uniformity in the entire brightness of an LCD(Liquid Crystal Display). A first gate line(121n) and a second gate line(121p) are formed on a substrate adjacently to each other. A first TFT and a second TFT are connected to the first gate line. A third TFT having a drain electrode(175c) is connected to the second gate line. A data line(171) is connected to the first TFT and the second TFT. A pixel electrode includes a first sub-pixel electrode(191b1) and a second sub-pixel electrode(191b2). The first sub-pixel electrode is electrically connected to the first TFT and the third TFT. The second sub-pixel electrode is electrically connected to the second TFT. The second sub-pixel electrode has a protrusion(191c). A center portion of the protrusion and a center portion of the drain electrode overlap each other while the protrusion and the drain electrode are insulated from each other.
