INSECT-CONTROLLING MONOFILAMENT AND WOVEN FABRIC

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an insect-controlling monofilament having insect pest-repelling effects improved without damaging the mechanical characteristics and spinning operability of the monofilament itself, and to provide a woven fabric using the monofilament. SOLUTION: The insect-controlling monofilament comprises a resin composition containing 1-15 pts.wt. insect pest repellent based on 100 pts.wt. thermoplastic resin. The woven fabric such as a filter for an air conditioner uses the insect-controlling monofilament at least as a part of the warp yarns and/or the weft yarns. COPYRIGHT: (C)2008,JPO&INPIT
