<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a piezoelectric actuator capable of highly accurately driving a drive member even if a temperature change is generated. <P>SOLUTION: When the movement of the drive member 18 in the center axis direction is repeated, restrain of displacement of piezoelectric part 12 for drive by a clamp mechanism 14 is temporarily released. A position adjustment spring 36 exerts an energizing force to the clamp mechanism 14 on one side in the center axial direction. Even when there is a difference in a deformed amount in the center axis direction between the piezoelectric part 12 for drive and a casing 10 due to the temperature change in the piezoelectric actuator 1, the position of the clamp mechanism 14 in the center axis direction of the same can be corrected to a position where, while the drive member 18 returns to the position of a stopper 20, there is no gap generated between the drive member 18 and the clamp mechanism 14. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2008,JPO&INPIT |
