PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a connector with increased installation strength compared with a conventional one. SOLUTION: The connector 1 has an upper plate part 30 extended to the front from the upper fringe portion of a rear plate part 31 and a right plate part 32a and a left plate part 32b extended respectively to the front from a right fringe portion and a left fringe portion of the rear plate 31. The connector 1 has a right soldering part 34a projecting from the lower fringe portion of the right plate part 32a and a left soldering part 34b projecting from the lower fringe portion of the left plate part 32b inserted in a substrate 40 to be soldered, and a flange part 33 installed at the upper part from the front fringe portion of the upper plate part 30 is screwed to a case 41. A right slit 36a is provided between the upper plate part 30 and the right plate part 32a and a left slit 36b is provided between the upper plate part 30 and the left plate part 32b.
