<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an image forming apparatus in which a laser scanning unit (LSU) is hardly affected by heat and static electricity, then, the malfunction is prevented and an image is appropriately formed. <P>SOLUTION: The image forming apparatus 1 includes in a housing 100: an image forming part 10 constituted of a photoreceptor drum 2, the LSU 5 and a fixing roller 8, etc., to electrophotographically print an image on a recording paper P; and a paper feed cassette 110 disposed above the image forming part 10. The recording paper P is fed from the paper feed cassette 110, and when the paper P is conveyed toward the rear part of the housing 100 inside the housing 100, a toner image is transferred on the lower surface of the paper by the photoreceptor drum 2 disposed beneath the housing 100, after the recording paper P is heated and pressurized by the fixing roller 8, the recording paper P is discharged onto a paper discharge tray 120. The LSU 5 is disposed below the photoreceptor drum 2, and disposed away from the fixing roller 8 and the paper discharge tray 120, then, the LSU 5 is hardly affected by the heat and the static electricity. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2008,JPO&INPIT |
