PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To solve the problem that influence of temperature increase or current noise of element substrates often appears more in one of element substrates in a recording head having a plurality of element substrates. SOLUTION: The recording head has the plurality of recording elements and is provided with a first element substrate and a second element substrate having the plurality of recording elements, wherein the second element substrate is spaced away from the first element substrate. The first element substrate is electrically connected to the second element substrate and has a first function circuit having a processing function for driving the recording elements of the second element substrates.
