PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a thimble for introducing cooling air to a cooling passage of a combustor assembly. SOLUTION: The thimble 100 includes an outside surface 103, a first opening part, a second opening part on the downstream side of the first opening part, and an opposite side inner surface 101 defining a flow passage 102 extending between these parts. The flow passage includes a converging part 112 and a recovery part 116 on the downstream side of the converging part 112. The converging part 112 has a diameter of reducing down to the recovery part 116 from the first opening part, and the recovery part 116 has a substantially constant diameter in its whole area.
