PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a fixing device, constituted so that toner, paper powder, or the like, are less apt to clog, in a gap between a rotating body for pressurization and a guide member. SOLUTION: The fixing device is provided with: a rotating body 2 for fixing heated by a heating mechanism is provided; a rotating body 3 for pressurization pressure-welding the rotary circumferential face, in a state of being freely far/near moved to the rotating body 2 for fixing; and a guide member 5 guiding a transfer paper P, carried in a state where an unfixed toner image is carried into a pressure-welding nip part 4 between the rotating body 2 for fixing and the rotating body 3 for pressurization, and constituted so that an image is fixed by heating and pressurizing to the transfer paper P at the pressure-welding nip part 4, wherein a guide member following-up means F allowing the guide member 5 to follow up, in such a manner that the tip part 5a of the guide face in the guide member 5 reaches a fixed position is provided on the rotating body 3 for pressurization moving far/near to the side of the rotating body 2 for fixing.
